14th Annual

Southeastern Woodcarving School

July 15 - 18, 1999

Some of the many carvers doing their thing.

Michael and Judy Denton from Roanoke, Virginia taught a unique class on wizards and gnomes.

Here, Michael gives instructions on the Gnome "thing".

Judy assists an enthusiastic Gnome artist.

Carol Happley, Jordan, Minnesota, taught the Bluegill class.

Here it appears they are simply telling fish tails!?

Carol offers assistance. This makes it look like she really knows what she is doing.

Carlan Honaker, Topeka, Kansas, taught how to carve a Civil War Drummer Boy.

Here he provides instructions on the body detail.

George Nelson from Foley, AL let a class in carving a Saw Whet Owl.

Sometimes it is hard to tell if George is shooting the breeze or carving, or what!
